A unique opportunity for students to become reporters and media creators, covering the Melaka STEM Bootcamp. Teams of 3-5 student reporters will capture highlights, activities, and innovations. Hands-On Experience: Gain practical skills in journalism, media production, and social media management. Mentorship: Learn from experienced mentors. Weekly Deliverables: Produce and submit two pieces of content per week (news reports, videos, photo sets, social media posts, blog articles).
Judging Criteria: Content quality, social media engagement (likes, views, comments, reposts), and impact and reach.


How to Participate

1. Form a Team: Minimum 2, Maximum 4 students from your school.
2. Register: Sign up your team through our online registration form.
3. Attend Workshops: Hone your media skills in pre-bootcamp workshops.
4. Create and Share: Cover the Melaka STEM Bootcamp from July 9, 2024. Share your content on social media and track engagement metrics.
5. Submit Weekly: Submit your content and social media metrics weekly for evaluation.

Themes and Content Ideas

Week 1: Opening events, introductions, initial activities
Week 2: Workshops, participant interviews, early projects
Week 3: Mid-bootcamp progress, team activities, special events
Week 4: Detailed project coverage, challenges faced, mentor sessions
Week 5: Final projects, participant experiences, preparations for closing events
Week 6: Closing events, awards ceremony, final reflections
